Buying A Home? You Can't Afford Not to Get a Home Improvement Analysis.
I remember the first home I bought, it certainly was an emotional purchase not an educated one. I had no idea of what things cost to fix and update, I just wanted out of the apartment complex. Many of you are in the same situation. Who do you turn to, to see what things will cost? You need someone that won't have a conflict of interests.

Most buyers hire a “Home Inspector” to look at the house. This person is often times viewed as a structural engineer, but they are not (most, anyway). While we agree a home inspector is a good investment, to point out possible problems with the house, who tells you what things will cost to repair or remodel?

For example, if your inspector comes out and looks at the “70's pink & blue bathroom”, there might not be anything wrong with it, but what will it cost to update? That's what we can do for you.

Let's take for example you have a budget cap of $175k and are looking for a house in a certain part of town, with certain parameters (3 bedrooms, 2 baths, etc.). Your real estate agent will pool down the market and start to show you homes that fall within your parameters. You'll find homes that you love, but think need too much renovation, homes you that don't need many updates, but lack curb appeal, homes that need both but have a lower price, and so on.

Wouldn't it be nice to find the neighborhood you want to live in and know that you can afford it and have it renovated to the way you want. Again, that is what we can do for you. The service is fairly simple. You'll find properties you are interested in and we spend a few hours, the day, whatever it takes to view them.

This service is an interactive appraisal of possible renovation costs and designs. We will cover the entire house, from kitchens and baths, siding and roofing, mechanicals, landscaping, etc. The fee is $400 for a day, which is nothing in terms of making the right home purchase. If you decide to use us for any work on whatever home you buy in the future, we will rebate the $400.
